Life Long Learning

It has no standardized definition. It has generally been taken to refer to the learning that occurs outside of a formal educational institute.

Governance

The true test of 'good' governance is the degree to which it delivers on the promise of human rights : civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights.

Climate Change

It refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change.

Democracy & Human Rights

Democracy policy includes general elections, measures to strengthen and protect the individual’s opportunities for influence, and measures to promote and guarantee respect for human rights.

 

Established in 2022, ‘Kayapalat’ (KAP) is a non-profit, non-partisan social organization. Primarily, it is dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of young people. Secondarily, KAP seeks to educate the youth to help them understand their rights in Nepali society. It seeks to organize and engages them in advocacy and social campaigning. Initiated by energetic and conscientious young people, KAP it is registered with Dhanusha District Administration and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC).

KAP is a dynamic organization that adopts a correct approach to designing and implementing many programs. KAP designs
programs aimed to influence policymakers and seeks to assist in creating, amending, and enforcing all worthwhile policies. KAP organizes programs that focus on raising social awareness, youth development, networking, improving knowledge, and promoting better policies that affect young people.

KAP is a campaign-based organization that mobilizes its members, volunteers, campaigners, and interns in the field of advocacy & lobby campaigning. Since its inception, KAP has been working in the fields of; youth participation and leadership development, education and lifelong learning, democracy, and human rights, climate justice, Child right, sustainable development, and gender and social inclusion.
Major flagship programs of KAP include: Climate Dialogue Series, Plastic Man Campaign, Kayapalat Learning Hub (KLH), National Youth Camp on Good Governance, Youth Human Right Defender Camp, Youth Conclave on Democracy, Youth Conclave on Climate Crisis, Plantation Campaign on Chure, One House, One Tree Campaign, One Hundred Thousand Tree Plantation program was successfully organized, a grand campaign consisting of more than 800+ Climate campaigners and local people at Madhesh Province.

In addition to it, KAP has a good partnership with government agencies, INGOs, and civil society organizations.
